Where Power Lives…
i’ve discovered something insane about myself -
- i’ve discovered that i hide most, ALMOST ALL of my power in my Shadow. Afraid of reaching for it, afraid of becoming TOO MUCH, burning too bright. Too much for whom? Too bright for what? And what has stripped me of the power TO BE?
If only I was in hiding alone, but i look around and see human outlines everywhere, outlines made with white chalk…

I refer to this as “driving with the brakes on,” and almost everyone does it big time. To frame it another way, virtually all of us are far greater, more competent, more magnificent, more lovable and loving than we know … and certainly more than we ACT on.
What we act on is the key bit here, IMO.
One of my main missions as an NLP developer is to figure out ways that people — so-called “ordinary” people — can get the brakes off and free their inner greatness in a big way.

The fear of shining too bright makes sense - being visible can feel dangerous, especially if you carry the memory of prosecution and annihilation for “standing out” in your genes..
And the Shadow.. What represses those parts of us into the shadow, in the first place - societal fear, fear of not being “good”, fear of not being loved..
A lot of fear to work with here
